TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Introductions:
Welcome to Funky Tent Fest! These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) are a binding agreement between you (“User” or “you” or “your”) and Funky Tent Fest (“Funky Tent Fest” or “we” or “our”) that sets forth the terms and conditions governing your use of our camping ground, rental tents, and associated services (collectively, the “Services”).
By making a booking and using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.
Funky Tent Fest reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time without notice. Your continued use of our Services after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgment and acceptance of the modified terms and conditions.
Additional Policies and Agreements:
Use of the Services is also governed by the following policies, which are incorporated by reference into this Agreement and form one in the same. By using the Services, you also agree to the terms of the following policies.

Age Eligibility:
Funky Tent Fest welcomes campers of all ages to our camping ground. However, we require that all campers under the age of 18 be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent or guardian.
By making a booking and using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are accompanied by a responsible adult. If you are under 18 years of age and are not accompanied by a responsible adult, you may not use our Services.
Funky Tent Fest reserves the right to request proof of age at any time and to deny access to our Services to anyone who fails to provide such proof or who does not meet our age eligibility requirements.
In the event that a camper is found to be under the age of 18 and not accompanied by a responsible adult, Funky Tent Fest may terminate the camper’s stay and require that the camper and any accompanying individuals leave the camping ground immediately. No refunds will be provided in such circumstances.
Booking Process:
Funky Tent Fest accepts bookings through our website at www.funkytentfest.com. Campers can choose to pay for their booking online with their credit cards, debit cards, or mobile money, or they may opt to pay on arrival at the camping site.
Please note that additional services such as airport pickups, boat riding, massage services, breakfast, lunch, etc., may be available for booking at the time of tent reservation. However, some of these services may be provided by third parties and may not be available at all times. In such cases, Funky Tent Fest will not be held liable for any inconvenience caused, and any amount paid for unfulfilled services will be refunded.
Campers are advised to book their tents and additional services well in advance to avoid any disappointment. Funky Tent Fest reserves the right to limit or refuse bookings based on availability or any other criteria at our sole discretion.
Check-In and Check-Out Times:
Funky Tent Fest operates on a strict check-in and check-out schedule to ensure that all campers have a fair opportunity to enjoy our facilities. Our check-in time is at 11:00 AM, and check-out time is at 10:00 AM.
Early Check-In:
If a camper arrives at the camping ground before the check-in time and their tent is not yet available, they may be asked to wait until the tent is prepared and handed over to them at the appropriate check-in time. Funky Tent Fest will make every effort to accommodate early arrivals, but we cannot guarantee the availability of tents before the scheduled check-in time.
Late Check-Out:
If a camper does not vacate their tent by the agreed check-out time, they may be asked to pay for a full or partial additional night’s stay. The additional fee will be calculated based on the rate for the previous night or a fraction thereof, and the fee must be paid before the camper can check out of the facility.
Funky Tent Fest reserves the right to charge a late check-out fee if a camper overstays their check-out time. We ask that all campers respect our check-in and check-out times to ensure that everyone has a fair opportunity to enjoy our facilities. Thank you for your cooperation in adhering to our check-in and check-out policies.
Weather Conditions:
Funky Tent Fest is an open camping site, and as such, we cannot be held liable for any issues related to weather conditions. This includes but is not limited to rain, heavy wind, acts of God, force majeure, or any other natural or man-made events that may impact the camping experience.
We advise all campers to check the weather forecast when planning their camping adventure and to bring appropriate gear and clothing for various weather conditions. While we will make every effort to ensure that the camping ground is safe and comfortable for all campers, we cannot guarantee that weather conditions will not impact the camping experience.
In the event of severe weather conditions, Funky Tent Fest reserves the right to temporarily close the camping site for the safety of all campers. If this occurs, campers will be notified as soon as possible, and any prepaid fees for unused days will be refunded. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these weather-related policies.
Illegal Activities and Suspicious Behavior:
Funky Tent Fest is a law-abiding entity, and we do not allow our campsite to be used for any illegal activities or to host suspected criminals. We reserve the right to report any suspicious activities to the lawful authorities immediately and to cooperate with them fully during any investigation.
If we suspect any unusual activities, we reserve the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to asking campers to leave the premises immediately, without a refund. We also reserve the right to ban any campers who engage in illegal activities or suspicious behavior from returning to our campsite.
Funky Tent Fest takes the safety and security of all our campers seriously, and we ask that all campers respect these policies and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations. Any violation of these policies may result in legal action or other appropriate measures.
Damage to Equipment:
All equipment provided by Funky Tent Fest, including but not limited to tents, camping gear, and other accessories, should be returned in the same condition as they were when they were provided to the camper.
Campers are responsible for any damage to equipment provided by Funky Tent Fest during their stay. In the event of any damage, the camper will be required to pay for the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged equipment.
The cost of any damages will be determined by Funky Tent Fest, and the camper will be notified of the amount owed before leaving the campsite. Payment for damages must be made before leaving the campsite, and failure to do so may result in legal action or other appropriate measures.
Noise, Music, and Community Standards:
Funky Tent Fest strives to provide a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience for all campers. We ask that all campers respect the following policies related to noise, music, and other community standards:
1. Noise Levels:
Excessive noise levels are not permitted at any time, and we ask that all campers keep noise levels to a minimum during quiet hours. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and during this time, we ask that all campers keep noise levels to a minimum to ensure a peaceful environment for all.
2. Music and Other Entertainment:
Campers are permitted to bring music players and other entertainment devices, but we ask that they use these devices with consideration for others. Music and other entertainment should be kept at reasonable levels at all times and should not disturb other campers.
3. Community Standards:
We ask that all campers respect the community standards of Funky Tent Fest, including but not limited to respecting the property and equipment of others, refraining from littering or damaging the environment, and adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
We reserve the right to take appropriate action if any campers violate these policies. This may include but is not limited to asking campers to leave the premises immediately, without a refund. We also reserve the right to ban any campers who violate these policies from returning to our campsite.
The health of Campers:
Funky Tent Fest cares about the health and safety of all campers. We ask that all campers adhere to the following policies related to their health:
1. Pre-Existing Health Conditions:
Campers with pre-existing health conditions are advised to consult with their healthcare provider before booking a tent at our campsite. If a camper is sick, we ask that they do not book a tent until they have recovered.
2. Illness During Stay:
If a camper falls sick during their stay at our campsite, we ask that they inform us immediately. We will do everything we can to assist the camper in getting in touch with healthcare providers and contacting their relatives if necessary.
3. Liability:
Funky Tent Fest is not liable for any serious health conditions that may result in the death of a camper. Campers are advised to take necessary precautions to ensure their own safety and well-being while at our campsite.
We reserve the right to take appropriate action if any campers violate these policies. This may include but is not limited to asking campers to leave the premises immediately, without a refund. We also reserve the right to ban any campers who violate these policies from returning to our campsite.
Event Ground:
At Funky Tent Fest, we offer a unique and picturesque outdoor venue that can be booked for events of all kinds. Whether it’s a wedding, a corporate retreat, a birthday party, or any other special occasion, our campsite provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
To request an event booking, simply visit our website and fill out our Event Booking Request form. Our team will review your request and get in touch with you to discuss availability, pricing, and other details.
Please note that event bookings are subject to availability, and we recommend booking well in advance to ensure that we can accommodate your needs. We also require a deposit to secure your booking, which will be applied toward the total cost of your event.
Kindly be advised that as a valued customer of Funky Tent Fest, we expect all campers and event organizers to adhere to our terms and conditions. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of any payments made.
Governing law and jurisdiction that applies to the agreement:
1. Governing Law: This agreement and any disputes arising from or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, as well as other laws of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) that are applicable.
2. Jurisdiction: Any dispute arising from or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
3. Compliance with Laws: The parties agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines in connection with the performance of their obligations under this agreement, including but not limited to laws and regulations related to event organization, safety, and licensing.
4. No Conflicting Laws: In the event that any provision of this agreement conflicts with any law or regulation of Ghana or ECOWAS, the parties agree to take all necessary steps to comply with such law or regulation, while still giving effect to the terms of this agreement to the extent possible.
5. Language: The language of this agreement shall be English, which shall be the official language of Ghana and ECOWAS.
6. Amendment: This Agreement may not be amended except in writing signed by both parties.
7. Severability: If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
8. Entire Agreement: This agreement contains the entire understanding of the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements between them relating to the subject matter of this agreement.
By entering into this agreement, Funky Tent Fest and any other party involved agree to be bound by the terms and conditions regarding the governing law and jurisdiction as set forth above.
